The Tennessee Grocers Association has named a Mid-State teenager the state’s best bagger. Brittany Cavender works at the Kroger in White House, Tennessee. After winning the competition at her store, the 17-year-old started preparing for the statewide competition in Knoxville.  Weight distribution was a factor to judges, as was speed, style and technique.  When asked how it felt to be “Tennessee’s Best Bagger”, Cavender said it was a “little awkward” but “cool.”  Cavender will go on to compete against other baggers from across the country in a national competition in Las Vegas.
